Amanda Roche is the Director of BTR. Within BTR she teaches string lessons and is also a trained Kindermsuik Educator.

Amanda was born in Bundaberg and commenced violin lessons at the age of six. During her school years she was a playing member of the Bundaberg Youth Orchestra, Bundaberg Municipal Band and various school ensembles. Amanda then went on to study a Bachelor of Music and Post Graduate Certificate in Music Studies both specialising in Pedagogy and achieve her AMUSA on violin through the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. During this time Amanda toured with the Camerata of St Johns, Queensland Youth Orchestra, Queensland Youth Chamber Orchestra and Queensland Conservatorium Orchestra. Amanda has been a part of the beginning stages and the successful running of various string programs throughout Brisbane, Toowoomba and Bundaberg. Amanda is looking forward to introducing music to students of all ages and helping them to grow not only as a musician but as a whole person.

Eunice was born into a large music loving family and has passed that same love on to her own children and grandchildren.

Since receiving her Kindermusik Educators License in 2005, she has gone on to become a Kindermusik Maestro. In this time Eunice has been teaching Kindermusik to children and parents from birth to 7 years of age. Eunice is a passionate Kindermusik educator, whose enthusiasm for what she does is reflected in the families that come to lessons from week after week. Eunice is in awe of the Kindermusik program and the benefits and fun that it brings into the lives of not only these young children but their families as well. Eunice looks forward to the future and the fun and experience it brings, not only through the music but the friendship that is attained by contact with people who also share in the knowledge and love of music and its benefits.

Seth has been exposed to alternative music from a very young age and picked up the guitar at age five.

Since then, he has been learning more about music and further strengthening his abilities on the guitar. At 16, Seth released his first album and by age 17, he was touring around Australia with his band. He has continued touring since and is dedicated to becoming the best musician he can be. With 15 years of knowledge, he would like to share his skills with all musicians to inspire them and help them grow.

Alex was born into a very musical family, and started learning classical piano at a very young age.

Since then he has accumulated several AMEB grades culminating with Grade 7 and is currently studying his Performance Level. He has also studied Jazz under the well known Stuart Wadham, amongst others. He also started playing drums as a main instrument in 2011, and has played both instruments in original bands since, which has resulted in nation-wide touring. Alex has taught piano for the past 6 years privately, and is thoroughly enjoying teaching at BTR! He looks forward to passing his knowledge and skills onto your child!

Delwyn has joined the BTR team as a Kindermusik Educator alongside Eunice. Delwyn has jumped straight into classes and is taking Kindermusik into the Child Care Centres!

Colleen has had a long history with music. As a child she began vocal instruction with June Nelson (Opera Singer) and began her career as a singer.

Over the next 36 years she has been involved in a wide variety of singing performances that range from Musical Theatre (Bundaberg Amateur Playhouse Theatre), Pop/Rock Bands(University), Outdoor Concerts (Rythmajic Culture-Cairns), Piano Bars (Taipei), Gala dinners (French Embassy Taipei), Mini Musicals (co-singing with Paul Whiteley from The Phantom of The Opera-Taiwan), “Love Changes Everything Concert”(Taipei International Convention Centre-Phantom Of the Opera) and many varied performances for Weddings, Clubs and Functions. She completed 2 years vocal training with Hao Ting followed by the completion of Vocal Instructor training with Eric Bruner. Colleen has helped many adults and children achieve their goals to improve their vocal technique, vocal sustainability and stage presence and is looking forward to helping your child to do the same.

Ishara kodithuwakku is a well trained piano teacher. She has 13 years of teaching experience and holds a Diploma from the Londonn College of Music ( West London University ).

Katherine is a 3rd year university student studying Primary teaching. She has a passion for music and a love for teaching students.

Katherine TurnerPiano, Violin and Theory Teacher

Katherine is a 3rd year university student studying Primary teaching. She has a passion for music and a love for teaching students. She started piano at age 7 and has completed her Grade 8 AMEB certificate. She is currently working on completing her ATCL in Piano. At 11, she began violin lessons and has completed her Grade 7 AMEB certificate. She currently plays first violin in the Bundaberg youth orchestra. Katherine has been teaching her own students for 4 years and for the past two years also taught piano to over 20 students at Hope Adventist School. She also accompanied Voiceworx choir at BCC for the last 2 years.

My BTR journey commenced when I was 18 months old with Eunice in the Kindermusik program. At 7 years old, I started to learn violin with Amanda, where my love for music grew.

I enjoy the challenge of competing in the local Eisteddfod and being able to receive feedback on how I can continue to improve my skills. Currently I'm working towards my 7th Grade AMEB exam. It's one of my greatest dreams to attend Griffith University in Brisbane where I can complete a Bachelor of Music degree/study music. I also wish to one day be a renowned concert violinist and composer. Violin is not the only instrument I am learning, I also play clarinet in the school band and am learning piano. Some things I enjoy doing in my spare time are camping with my family, reading and relaxing in our pool.
